Intro

 Pottendorf 

Instead of copying an actual location, I tend to bend the truth and create a 'factional' place that mixes a few facts with some fiction. The layout in my workshop is based on a real railway line in Upper Franconia from Ebermannstadt towards Aufseß, which ran through the village of Heiligenstadt. Perhaps that's a good excuse to build a model of the station that was never built?

On 1 May 1961, 98 855 on the last passenger train ran between Eschenau and Neunkirchen am Brand
